Organized by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/turtech.travel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Turtech<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/plan21.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fundaci\u00f3n Plan 21<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.preferredbynature.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Preferred by Nature<\/a><\/strong>, with support from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/peru.travel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PromPer\u00fa<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.peru.travel\/es\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Per\u00fa Travel<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biospheretourism.com\/es\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Biosphere<\/a><\/strong>, this initiative became a key space for rethinking tourism toward a fairer, regenerative, and planet-centered model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why does this week matter?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tourism accounts for 10% of the global GDP and plays a major role in Latin America&#8217;s economy.
