Homey feel in magical mountain surroundings.
☺ Incredibly beautiful, you can tell they take really good care of it, mountains in the background are unbelievable. Clearly built with the environment in mind. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to help us. One of our laptops was stolen in the airport, and Hector the manager helped us file a police report and Maria even accompanied us and waited with us and helped with translations. The chef is also incredibly creative and even made to order meals for us that weren’t on the menu. The breakfast is also expansive and delicious and the service especially from Charlie was impeccable. They even packed us a breakfast to go when we had a very early train to Machu Picchu. It got a little chilly at night but they lit the fire for us in our room which was more than enough. Can’t recommend highly enough!
☹ The meals are priced in USD and are comparable in price to what you’d pay in New York or London rather than Peru. For e.g. one appetiser and two mains with no drinks came to $50 USD.

Our Family Tents have two bedrooms: A master bedroom with a Queen bed and a second bedroom with two twins. Each tent has a bathroom and a sitting area around a wood stove. The tents have an outside patio with seating room for four and are equipped with wood stove, electric heating, safe, minibar, telephone, hot shower and hair drier.

Our Group tents sleep up to eight people on two floors. The ground floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms arranged around a central hallway. Each bedroom can be set up with one King or two Twin beds and each bedroom has an electric stove and a safe. On the mezzanine floor there are four twin beds and the floor is equipped with electric heating and fans. The tents have an outside patio with a seating area as well as a table for large groups to socialize around. This format of tent is ideal for large families or groups of friends.
